  • We do! We know how important therapy is and how many people simply cannot afford the cost of self-pay session. We are currently able to accept most United Healthcare, Aetna and Cigna plans. Some of our therapists are able to accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, as well.

  • For those without mental health benefits, we offer self-pay sessions ranging from $140 - $150 per session after the initial evaluation of $165 - $175, depending on the therapist.

  • We are not currently able to accept EAP benefits, but we can accept regular insurance benefits.

  • For sessions cancelled with at least 24hrs notice prior to the session start time, there is no penalty. To cancel a session, please login to your portal, select the appointment you are wanting to cancel and press “Cancel”.

    Cancellations made without at least 24hrs notice prior to the session start time will be subject to a $100 fee and cannot be cancelled using the portal. Please reach out to us to cancel by sending an email to office@thirdcoastcw.com or by leaving us a voicemail at 281-310-1347 with your name, date of birth and time and date of the session you would like to cancel.

  • Here’s how to cancel a session:

    1. Sign into your portal and press "Appointments" 

    2. Press "Cancel Appointment"

    3. Enter reason for cancellation and press "Save"


    If you are needing to cancel a session with fewer than 24hrs notice, please send an email to office@thirdcoastcw.com or leave us a voicemail at 281-310-1347 with your name, date of birth and time and date of the session you would like to cancel.

    Cancellations made without at least 24hrs notice prior to the session start time will be subject to a $100 fee.

  • If you do not show up to a scheduled session or notify us prior to the session start time, you will be subject to a No-Show Fee.

    The No-Show Fee ranges from $140 - $150, depending on your therapist.

  • If you are a current patient and would like to be notified if there are any openings before your next scheduled session, please email us at office@thirdcoastcw.com and let us know the dates and times you are interested in.

    We will contact you right away if anything opens up!

  • For an in-person session, you will scan the QR code in the wall waiting room or go to your patient portal and sign in.

    1. Click “Appointments”

    2. Click “Start Check-In”

    3. Process your payment

    4. Click “Complete Check-In”

    For virtual sessions, you will do the same thing. Once you’ve completed check-in, the portal will notify your therapist. As soon as they’re ready, they will initiate the call or come and get you if you are in-person!

  • Absolutely! We can always switch a session to virtual at ANY time, just send us an email at office@thirdcoastcw.com or leave us a voicemail at 281-310-1347 and we’ll get it updated for you!

    Patients will often switch sessions to virtual to avoid cancelling last minute, don’t hesitate to request an update if your personal schedule prevents you from making it in-person.
