This training will provide participants with information on the foundation of prevention with a focus on risk and protective factors.
The objectives of this workshop are:
1) To guide participants in how to shift current risk/deficit practices
to a resilient/strength orientation;
2) Review the factors found in resilient youth and the protective
factors that foster them;
3) Provide strategies and activities known to foster these factors in children and youth
